Jacques Bermon Webster I, born on April 30, 1990, more commonly known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is an American musician and rapper. The stage name he uses is the namesake of a beloved uncle combined with the name of one of his inspirations, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013 the singer-songwriter signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. The singer also signed a recording deal with Epic and T.I. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) self-released in 2013. In 2013, Scott released his first full-length mixtape Owl Pharaoh. The album was followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was his debut studio album. It featured the hit song "Antidote". His second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. Scott continued to release albums that year, including the release of a joint album, Huncho Jack Huncho, which was released under the title Huncho Jack. The band's third studio album Astroworld was received acclaim by critics. The album also produced the first Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It was a top hit on the Billboard 200. After the release of his single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to release three singles at number one in less than one year in 2020.
